Fox News Host Expresses Skepticism Over Claims Of Biden’s Alleged Drug Use

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo expressed doubt about Republican accusations that President Joe Biden uses drugs to stay alert as the nation watches his slip into senility, stating “We’re not doctors” during her show “Sunday Morning Futures.”

The discussion arose after President Donald Trump demanded that Biden take a drug test before their first debate — scheduled for June 27. Trump claimed he didn’t want Biden showing up “high as a kite,” referencing the president’s State of the Union address earlier this year.

During the show, Bartiromo asked Reps. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) if they believe drug testing should be implemented before the debate.

Donalds, a vocal Biden critic, agreed with the idea, reiterating Trump’s remarks about the president potentially using performance-enhancing drugs during his State of the Union speech — something many Americans who are paying attention agree is a strong possibility.

“You can tell that Joe Biden comes in and is jacked up and as the hour goes by he slowly winds down, so the American people need to understand if they are giving him some injections so that he can actually look like he is coherent,” Donalds said.

Bartiromo responded, “These are obviously very serious charges that he is jacked up, we don’t know. We’re not doctors. We have no idea.”

Luna also supported drug testing, stating, “We are talking about someone who has the ability to launch nukes. We need to ensure this individual is essentially capable of not just leading this country but can make those tough decisions.”

When Bartiromo posed the same question to independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., he laughed and declined to answer, making a political statement instead about the importance of presidential debates for democracy.

Trump had previously suggested drug testing before debates in 2020, but the test never panned out.
