Easter Shock: Hundreds Of Bibles Burned At Tennessee Church

On the holiest day of the Christian calendar a trailer full of Bibles was burned — apparently intentionally — outside of a Tennessee church that was preparing to celebrate Easter.

The shocking incident unfolded in Mount Juliet, just east of Nashville, at the Global Vision Church. Pastor Greg Locke revealed the horror on social media and told of church cameras capturing the insidious act in an attack on the faith of the vast majority of Americans.

Locke posted, “This morning at 6:00 a.m. our security cameras caught a man dropping off a trailer in the middle of the intersection and blocking the road into our church. He then got out and set fire to an entire trailer full of Bibles right in front of our church.”

The pastor further reported that a woman had driven hours to reach the Easter service and was already in the parking lot when the vile act took place. She called authorities and police quickly arrived to secure the scene.

Locke noted that traffic was blocked in all directions as the Bibles burned. He added, however, that “it’s going to be a great day in the Lord.”

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office quickly released a statement confirming that the holy scriptures were “intentionally set on fire.” It gave a sequence of events on Sunday morning and said that the Mt. Juliet Fire Department extinguished the blaze.

Officials added that the trailer holding the Bibles “had been dropped off in the middle of the intersection and then intentionally set on fire.” More details are being withheld as the investigation proceeds.

The church was able to carry on with its traditional Easter services. Not surprisingly, many took to social media to voice their outrage at this latest blatant attack on Christianity.

One user posted, “The evil out there is frightening. So thankful no one was harmed or damage done to the church. May our Lord touch the heart of the person who did this.”

Another person wrote, “God’s got the next move. Jesus is alive and doing mighty things. Prayers for that man and also for the church. Onward Christian Soldiers.”

Of course, to hear leftists and the mainstream media tell it, the threat to the nation is from Christian nationalists. Those who uphold the faith and traditions the country was founded on are to be watched and investigated as threats to the Republic.
