Univision And Telemundo Stand Alone In Reporting On Migrant Gang’s Crimes, Mainstream Media Stays Silent
As violent migrant gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) spreads its influence across U.S. cities, mainstream networks like ABC, CBS and NBC remain conspicuously silent on the growing crisis. While these “Regime Media” outlets avoid the topic, Univision and Telemundo have been the only national newscasts to address the issue, shedding light on the criminal organization’s operations and their role in human trafficking and violence.
Univision correspondent Fabiola Galindo recently took the bold step of interviewing NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny, who confirmed the presence of Tren de Aragua gang members in New York City. Kenny discussed how the gang operates, noting the difficulties law enforcement faces due to sanctuary city laws that prevent officers from asking about immigration status. He highlighted the dangerous presence of TdA members, including a 15-year-old migrant who fired a gun in Times Square.
Despite the importance of these revelations, networks like ABC and NBC have chosen to ignore the story, focusing instead on lesser issues. Meanwhile, Univision and Telemundo have gone further, reporting on Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s recent designation of TdA as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). Both networks aired segments addressing how law enforcement is fighting back against the gang’s growing influence in Texas and beyond.
Telemundo even brought in a former FBI agent, Daniel Brunner, who warned that TdA is a greater threat than MS-13. Brunner’s insight underscores the seriousness of the situation, yet the Regime Media continues to ignore the mounting danger posed by this criminal organization.
The refusal of mainstream networks to cover the rise of TdA raises troubling questions about the priorities of the media. Univision and Telemundo, despite their own immigration advocacy agendas, have at least acknowledged the existence of violent criminal gangs like TdA. However, it seems that other outlets are more concerned with avoiding coverage that might reflect poorly on the Biden-Harris regime.
