Trump-Supporting Truckers Refusing Deliveries To NYC In Protest Of Court Decision

Truck drivers who support former President Donald Trump are uniting in their protest of last week’s clearly political decision against the Republican. They are refusing to make deliveries to the Big Apple.

In the latest result of the deluge of Democratic persecution, Trump was slapped with a $355 million fine in a fraud case and prohibited from conducting business in the city for three years.

One of the ringleaders of the grassroots protest is a truck driver who goes by “Chicago Ray.” Assisting his cause is the fact that he doubles as a social media influencer and is able to communicate his displeasure with Trump’s persecution to a wide audience.

In a video posted on X, formerly Twitter, he said he’d spoken on the radio to at least 10 other truckers just within an hour who would also start refusing loads to NYC.

Chicago Ray predicted the judgment in the Trump case will be overturned on appeal. However, by his estimation 95% of truckers support the 45th president, and they are very unhappy with his treatment by the justice system.

Ray said his boss is unconcerned with drivers avoiding NYC and will simply send them with different loads elsewhere. He further noted how difficult it is to navigate the city in an 18-wheeler and drivers will not miss the headaches.

For the record, Chicago Ray’s post has been viewed over 4.6 million times since Friday night and garnered more than 50,000 likes.

Users enthusiastically responded to his call for the trucker boycott. One wrote, “Do it! Let us know how we can help! You’re NOT alone in this fight.” Another simply replied, “We stand with the truckers.”

The outrage followed Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron ordering Trump to hand over a $355 million fine for allegedly inflating the value of his holdings. Prosecutors claimed this led to more favorable loans from financial institutions.

The case was brought by Democratic prosecutors despite the well-established fact that every loan was paid in full and not one lender complained.

Trump is also prohibited from serving as an officer or director of any New York-based company for three years.
