Trans ‘Vegan Cult’ Tied to Multiple Killings, Including Border Patrol Agent’s Death

A violent transgender cult known as the “Zizians” is being linked to multiple murders across the country, including the killing of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Vermont. Authorities have issued multiple warrants as they investigate the group’s involvement in a series of brutal attacks.

On Jan. 20, Border Patrol agent David Maland, 44, was shot and killed during a traffic stop near the Canadian border. The shooter, 21-year-old Teresa “Milo” Youngblut, opened fire on agents before they returned fire, killing her companion, German citizen Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt. Youngblut was injured in the exchange and later taken into custody.

Federal investigators say the guns used in the attack were purchased by 32-year-old Michelle Zajko, a biological male who identifies as a woman. Authorities have also linked Zajko to the 2023 murder of his parents, Richard and Rita Zajko, in Pennsylvania. Police records describe Zajko as armed, dangerous, and openly hostile to law enforcement.

Youngblut is also connected to another murder in Vallejo, California. She was engaged to 22-year-old Maximilian Snyder, who was arrested last week for the killing of 82-year-old landlord Curtis Lind. Lind had survived a 2022 attack by members of the “Zizians” who were squatting on his property. During that incident, he was stabbed multiple times, had a sword impaled through his chest, and lost an eye. Lind managed to shoot two of his attackers, killing one. He was set to testify against the surviving assailants when he was murdered earlier this month.

Authorities say the cult is led by Jack “Ziz” LaSota, a biological male who identifies as transgender. LaSota is accused of encouraging followers to commit violence to prove their loyalty. He has an outstanding warrant in Pennsylvania and is suspected of faking his own death in 2022 to evade capture.

Andy Ngo, a journalist who has covered far-left extremism, has warned that several members of the group are still at large and potentially dangerous. “I hope law enforcement does anything and everything it can to dismantle this terror group,” he said.

Several members of the “Zizians” are scheduled to stand trial in the coming months, but with key witnesses now dead, questions remain about whether justice will be served. Authorities continue to investigate as more details about the group’s activities come to light.
