The Epstein Client List Release Has Come And Gone, But The Cover-Up Continues

The promised release of Jeffrey Epstein’s full client list has come and gone, but the American public is still being kept in the dark. Instead of long-awaited transparency, what was handed over included heavily redacted documents that had already been made public, raising even more questions about what’s still being withheld.

Attorney General Pam Bondi, who had pledged a full release, confirmed that the FBI is withholding thousands of pages of documents. In a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel, she demanded that all records — including audio, video, and investigative files — be turned over to the Department of Justice (D.O.J.) by February 28. Patel, who has vowed to clean up corruption within the Bureau, responded by announcing an investigation into those responsible for obstructing the D.O.J.’s access to the full Epstein case files.

But the failures of the release went beyond just missing documents. The D.O.J.’s decision to distribute a binder titled The Epstein Files: Phase 1 to select social media influencers, rather than making all records public, has only added to the growing frustration. Many of those influencers were caught off guard, realizing too late that they had been used in what now appears to have been a botched PR stunt.

Meanwhile, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), a key figure pushing for Epstein-related transparency, blasted the lack of communication, revealing that neither she nor her team had been informed of the release in advance.

Victims of Epstein’s crimes were also left outraged. Attorney Jennifer Freeman, who represents several survivors, called the document dump a “big fat nothing” and accused the FBI and D.O.J. of failing to act on crucial evidence of Epstein’s crimes for years. The files reportedly contained references to child pornography and other disturbing evidence, raising further questions about why Epstein wasn’t prosecuted earlier.

With Bondi insisting that the full truth must come out and Patel threatening legal action against anyone obstructing justice, the fight for accountability is far from over. The public was promised the Epstein client list, and it’s clear that the battle to reveal it is only just beginning.
