Shock: Biden Faces Obstacle To Appearing On Ohio Ballot
In a turnabout from Democrats egregiously attempting to keep former President Donald Trump off their state ballots, now it’s incumbent Joe Biden who faces trouble in a key battleground state.
On Friday, Ohio’s Secretary of State’s office forwarded a letter to the Ohio Democratic Party informing them that they face being technically in violation of the law.
This arose in a conflict between the Democratic nominating process and the Ohio deadline for certification of a party’s presidential nominee. Secretary of State Frank LaRose’s legal counsel informed the party that the Buckeye State’s cutoff date for certification is Aug. 7.
However, the Democratic National Convention will not be held until Aug. 19, nearly two weeks later. This could potentially mean that the incumbent president will be disqualified from appearing on the Ohio ballot come November.
Legal counsel Paul Disantis wrote, “I am left to conclude that the Democratic National Committee must either move up its nominating convention or the Ohio General Assembly must act by May 9, 2024 to create an exception to this statutory requirement.”
That date is 90 days before a new law’s effective date.

On Sunday, the Biden campaign told ABC News that they are actively “monitoring the situation in Ohio” and believe the incumbent will be on the ballot in all 50 states.
Interestingly, the Democratic response came just one day after party officials expressed panic over their own voter registration drives assisting former President Donald Trump. An internal memo revealed the supposedly “nonpartisan” efforts aiding the Republican challenger.
Leftists give much lip service to wanting every American to vote, but that is a fallacy.
Meanwhile, Democrats are increasingly panicked over the amount of support Trump is receiving from demographic groups they consistently rely on. The Washington Post reported many are concerned over voter registration efforts backfiring on the deeply unpopular Biden.
The memo declared if the party continues to “blindly register nonvoters and get them to the polls, we would be distinctly aiding Trump’s quest for a personal dictatorship.”
The writing suggested that Democrats should instead focus on the few remaining groups that can be relied upon to support the incumbent.
