Orban Warns Of Globalist Efforts To Destabilize European Nations
Hungarian President Viktor Orban issued a strong warning about globalist interference in European affairs, pointing to recent unrest in Serbia as an example of the lengths these forces will go to undermine national sovereignty. In a post on X, Orban highlighted the divide between nationalist leaders fighting to preserve their countries and globalist elements pushing for centralized control over Europe.
“After losing Washington to the patriots, globalist-liberal forces retreated to Brussels, and set their sights on Serbia, Slovakia, and Hungary,” Orban wrote. “Today’s chaos in the Serbian Parliament – smoke bombs, violence, and obstruction – shows how far they’re willing to go to destabilise sovereign nations. We cannot allow this to continue.” He also expressed support for Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Serbia’s democratically elected government.

The incident Orban referenced took place in Serbia’s Parliament, where opposition lawmakers set off smoke bombs and attempted to block proceedings, disrupting the legislative body. The turmoil underscores rising tensions in the region, where nationalist governments have pushed back against European Union efforts to impose policies they view as undermining national identity and governance.
Orban’s remarks signal his concern that Serbia, along with Hungary and Slovakia, are being targeted for political destabilization. His criticism of Brussels reflects a broader frustration among nationalist leaders who view the EU’s centralized power as an attempt to erode national sovereignty in favor of a bureaucratic system resembling the old Soviet model.
His mention of Washington losing to “patriots” is a clear reference to President Donald Trump’s victory and his efforts to de-escalate global conflicts, particularly the war in Ukraine. Orban has previously criticized the Biden administration and European leaders for fueling hostilities between Russia and Ukraine rather than seeking diplomatic solutions.
As European elections approach, the battle between nationalist leaders and globalist forces is expected to intensify. Orban’s message makes it clear that he sees Serbia’s unrest as part of a broader struggle over Europe’s future.
