Conservatives Celebrate Bible’s Return To Classrooms
State Superintendent Ryan Walters has announced a groundbreaking initiative to return the Bible to classrooms across Oklahoma, beginning with Advanced Placement government courses. This victory represents a significant conservative pushback against the left’s secular agenda in education.
Walters revealed the purchase of over 500 Bibles, stating, “The Bible is back in Oklahoma’s classrooms. We are getting our kids back on track.” He has vowed to expand the program to include every classroom in the state.

Despite criticism from groups like the ACLU, Walters remains steadfast, emphasizing the Bible’s essential role in understanding American history. “The Bible has had a critical influence on American history,” Walters argued, defending the program as a step toward a more complete education for students.
In addition to the Bible, Walters plans to provide classrooms with key historical documents, including the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. These resources aim to deepen students’ understanding of the country’s founding principles.
The initiative has cost $25,000 so far, with Walters prepared to allocate up to $6 million to bring the program to every classroom. This aligns with Oklahoma’s Christian majority, with 79% of residents identifying with the faith.
Walters’ efforts reflect a broader conservative movement to restore traditional values in schools and reject the leftist policies that have stripped faith from education. The return of the Bible to Oklahoma classrooms stands as a triumph for conservatives determined to defend their beliefs.
