Supreme Court Temporarily Blocks Texas Border Security Law
In a surprising blow to states rights and national security, the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday issued a temporary stay on the Texas law permitting authorities to arrest and deport migrants who are illegal under federal law.
The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals had allowed the law to proceed, and it would have taken effect March 10. But Justice Samuel Alito imposed the stay, giving state officials until March 11 to respond to the Biden administration’s complaints.
His ruling will remain in place until March 13.
U.S. District Judge David Ezra issued a previous stay against the Texas policy on illegal migrants in February. He declared that permitting the law to continue would in effect give the state authority to “permanently supersede federal directives.”
Alito’s action is just the latest volley in the ongoing war between Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and the Biden White House.
To protect citizens from the ongoing invasion, Abbott assumed the constitutional role of the federal government in attempting to control the border.

And while the Oval Office argued that this usurped power vested in the Executive Branch, at the same time it turned its back on protecting the nation. Millions upon record-breaking millions continue to pour across from Mexico into Texas and other border states.
Recently there has been a shift in the White House, though it is merely for perceptions during this election year.
The administration moved from claiming the border is “secure” and there’s no crisis to blaming Republicans. Its so-called “bipartisan” border security bill was shot down by the House GOP, and for good reason.
Once it became law, thousands of illegal migrants would be permitted to enter the U.S. every day.
This is not securing the border, and it’s not even a band-aid. The bill was only election year posturing, something that conservatives saw straight through and were right to condemn.
But the Biden administration is determined to distance itself from the obvious apathy it displayed toward border security. This means acknowledging the desperate situation and laying the fault at the feet of the GOP.
But voters know better.

Justice Alito is as big an clown as Biden is.

This is another step in the Biden voter registration drive. 1. Give them drivers’ licenses (the most common form of voter ID). 2. Don’t require proper identification to vote (illegals rejoice).
The best way to stop the illegals is to stop them at the border. If that means they are still in the water, so be it. Do not let illegals set forth on U.S. soil. Have the Border Patrol actually patrol the border instead of playing herdsmen.

The truth is that States DO have authority to “permanently supersede federal directives.” Our govt is not like a corporate organizational chart.
