Palm Beach Judge Releases Grand Jury Records In 2008 Jeffrey Epstein Case

The previously sealed grand jury records in the 2008 criminal case against Jeffrey Epstein have been made public by a Palm Beach County court. The release follows an order signed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

The unsealed documents reveal the testimony of a 16-year-old girl who, in 2006, described how she was lured to Epstein’s Palm Beach estate at the age of 14 by an older acquaintance. Promised $200 for a forty-minute massage, the girl testified that the massages quickly turned sexual. “The teenagers testified and told detectives they were also paid cash or rented cars if they found him more girls,” reported ABC News.

Despite evidence presented by the Palm Beach Police Department involving at least two dozen victims, the grand jury indicted Epstein on two lesser prostitution counts rather than felony assault. The decision perplexed many, given that most of the victims were underage.

Under Florida law, grand jury documents are typically not released, leaving questions about why Epstein faced minor charges. Many believe Epstein’s connections to wealthy and influential individuals played a role in his escape from significant prison time.

Judge Luis Delgado, who made the transcripts and records available, noted the disturbing nature of the testimony. “The details in the record will be outrageous to decent people,” Delgado wrote. “The testimony taken by the Grand Jury concerns activity ranging from grossly unacceptable to rape — all of the conduct at issue is sexually deviant, disgusting, and criminal.”

The records were sealed for sixteen years before their release on July 1st. The unsealing provides a deeper look into the troubling case and the controversial non-prosecution agreement that allowed Epstein to avoid harsher penalties for over a decade.

So do these records actually name the names of other participants (criminals) besides epstein (who didn’t kill himself)?Or did those names get redacted?

And when do all the people involved have their names released? Still no real justice for the victims. IMO
