Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger Speak Out In Support Of Nikki Haley

Disgraced former Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) have both expressed their support for former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign.

The two hardcore anti-Trumpers left office in disgrace after betraying their constituents by repeatedly siding with Democrats and voting to impeach former president and current GOP primary frontrunner Donald Trump. Despite his support for the left, Democrats thanked Kinzinger by redistricting him out of a job, moving the map around so that his district was so far-left that he did not stand a chance at re-election — though it is unclear whether he chose not to run for re-election because of this or because conservatives no longer supported him. Meanwhile, Cheney was ousted by voters, who supported her America First primary challenger, Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY), by a massive 38-point margin.

Despite having little to no support among the Republican base, Cheney and Kinzinger have remained fixtures on mainstream media talk shows as token Republicans to speak out against Trump. Now, they are trying to further undermine the Republican frontrunner by endorsing his only major primary challenger — who is losing to him by significant margins.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Kinzinger announced that he had donated $250 to Haley’s campaign — even after Haley lost to Trump in the New Hampshire primary by more than 10 points, where the majority of her support came from outside the Republican Party.

“I just donated $250 to [Haley], I want to make sure I am never invited to that cheap and awful S-hole club called Mar-A-Lago. I don’t want to catch weak victims. I’m Thankful that sweaty Don gave us a way to ban ourselves,” he wrote.

Kinzinger then explained that he had no intention of donating to Haley until Trump declared that anyone who donates to her would be “permanently banned” from the MAGA movement.

The announcement Kinzinger was referencing came via a post on Truth Social, where Trump explained that in the past, his opponents’ donors had come to him following their defeat and tried to cozy up to him — but he is no longer accepting this standard political practice.

“When I ran for Office and won, I noticed that the losing Candidate’s ‘Donors’ would immediately come to me, and want to ‘help out.’ This is standard in Politics, but no longer with me. Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp. We don’t want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!” Trump wrote.

Haley responded to the post on X, writing: “Well in that case…donate here. Let’s Go!”

Meanwhile, Cheney also recently expressed her support for Haley. In an interview on the far-left podcast Pod Save America, the former congresswoman declared that Haley needed to stay in the race — using her favorite talking points, the left’s since-debunked narrative about Trump committing an insurrection on January 6, 2021.

“What we watched [Trump] do in the lead up to January 6, his attempt to seize power, presents an existential threat…And right now, Nikki Haley is in this fight [to keep Trump out of office] and I think she ought to stay in it,” Cheney said.
