Florida Rep. Cory Mills Files Articles Of Impeachment Against President Joe Biden

Florida Rep. Cory Mills has taken a stand against President Joe Biden by filing articles of impeachment. Mills alleges that Biden abused the powers of his office by soliciting a “quid pro quo” with Israel while leveraging vital military aid for policy changes.

In a statement, Mills said, “This egregious action not only compromised the credibility of the United States but also undermined the interests of our longstanding ally, Israel. Therefore, President Biden’s conduct warrants impeachment, trial, removal from office and disqualification from holding any future office under the United States.”

Many have noted the similarity between Biden’s actions and the supposed “quid pro quo” phone call with the president of Ukraine that led to President Donald Trump’s impeachment. The question remains whether Speaker Mike Johnson will bring these articles to the floor for a vote.

While the articles of impeachment are unlikely to pass in the Senate even if they are brought to a vote in the House, Mills’ actions highlight the apparent double standard in the treatment of Biden compared to Trump.

Some argue that Biden should have already faced impeachment for failing in his duty to protect the border and the ongoing impeachment inquiry into his foreign business interests.
