Trump’s DOGE Shuts Down USAID Headquarters As Deep State Scrambles

The Deep State suffered a major defeat as President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, locked USAID officials out of their own systems and sealed off the agency’s headquarters. The takeover has halted operations, preventing entrenched bureaucrats from continuing their taxpayer-funded globalist initiatives.

DOGE personnel acted quickly, freezing USAID’s financial networks and cutting off access to classified systems. More than 600 employees were locked out overnight, while two top security officials, including Director of Security John Voorhees, were placed on leave for attempting to block DOGE’s access. By morning, yellow police tape surrounded USAID’s entrance, ensuring no return to normal operations.

Musk, who has been outspoken about USAID’s role in questionable financial dealings, confirmed on X that Trump had personally approved DOGE’s actions. A White House statement accused the agency of gross mismanagement, stating that billions of taxpayer dollars had been used for DEI programs, electric vehicle subsidies, and left-wing political efforts instead of real aid.

Further scrutiny has revealed that USAID maintained financial ties to Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company at the center of Hunter Biden’s business dealings. Reports also suggest that USAID funding had been directed toward legal attacks on Trump, raising questions about whether the agency had been operating as a partisan tool rather than a neutral entity.

Democrats and federal employee unions have responded with lawsuits, alleging that DOGE officials unlawfully accessed personnel and financial records. Senate Democrats have demanded that Secretary of State Marco Rubio explain how DOGE was able to secure USAID’s systems and take control so rapidly.

With USAID’s internal records taken offline and its leadership locked out, discussions continue about possibly folding the agency into the State Department. As Trump’s battle against Washington’s entrenched power structures intensifies, USAID remains at a standstill with no clear future in sight.

I wonder how much of USAID funds have wound up in politicians pockets through the back door?
It’s no wonder why Democrats are up in arms. This is only the tip of the Washington corruption.
