Trump Moves To Purge Deep State, Revokes Security Clearances From Major Intelligence Risks

President Donald Trump has revoked the security clearances of former National Security Advisor John Bolton, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former CIA Director John Brennan in a sweeping effort to eliminate Deep State interference. The executive order, issued after Trump’s inauguration, aims to cut off former officials who have used their influence to undermine his presidency and conservative values.

The administration pointed to Bolton’s controversial 2019 memoir, which was deemed to contain classified information. The order highlights concerns that Bolton and other former officials have leveraged their access to sensitive materials to advance political agendas at the expense of national security.

Trump’s supporters have hailed the move as a crucial step in protecting the country from individuals they believe have abused their positions for personal and political gain. The action is seen as a strong message that those who betray national interests will no longer be granted special privileges.

The order also includes 50 former intelligence officials who signed a 2020 letter dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation. These individuals, including high-ranking figures from previous administrations, are accused of misleading the American people and using their influence to shape political narratives.

Bolton criticized the decision, saying it was a politically motivated attack against him. He also confirmed that his Secret Service protection had been revoked. Despite his objections, Trump remains firm in his stance, arguing that national security should not be compromised by those who have acted against his administration.

The security clearance revocations are part of Trump’s broader strategy to reform the federal government and eliminate entrenched bureaucratic influence. Additional executive actions include measures to strengthen border security and roll back burdensome federal regulations.
