Russian Foreign Minister Warns Biden’s Policies Could Lead To ‘Direct Military Conflict’
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has issued a stern warning, stating that the United States and Russia are on the brink of “direct military conflict” due to President Joe Biden’s actions. In an interview with Turkey’s Hurriyet Daily, Lavrov claimed that Biden’s approach to Russia has escalated tensions to dangerous levels, suggesting that the two countries are closer to open conflict than ever before.

Lavrov asserted that under Biden, the United States has adopted a heightened “Russophobia” stance, which he argues is pushing the two nations toward direct confrontation. According to the Business Recorder, Lavrov explained, “Under the current president, our countries are on the brink of direct military conflict.”

When asked if Russia has a preference in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, Lavrov responded that Russia does not favor one outcome over another. He pointed out that the Trump administration had imposed more sanctions on Russia than any previous administration, indicating that Moscow does not expect any significant change in U.S.-Russia relations regardless of the election results.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also weighed in, adding a touch of sarcasm. In a statement in September, Putin suggested that Biden had been his “favorite” U.S. president, adding that he would “support” Kamala Harris, Biden’s recommended successor, with a mocking reference to her well-known laugh.
Tucker Carlson declares the United States is at direct war with Russia according to the recently leaked Pentagon documents.

The remarks from Russia’s top officials reflect Moscow’s skepticism that any future U.S. administration will shift away from what they see as an “anti-Russian” stance.
As the election draws near, Lavrov’s warning underscores the serious geopolitical tensions facing the next president. Who one votes for tomorrow, and whether or not they decide to vote, may be a vote on whether this potential conflict becomes a horrific reality or a threatening vapor that quickly vanishes.
