Rep. Luna Accuses NBC Of Hiding JFK Footage That Could Clear Oswald
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is calling for NBC to release a video she says could change what Americans believe about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. During an appearance on Fox News, Luna revealed that the House Oversight Committee, which is now reviewing recently declassified Kennedy files, is requesting a never-before-seen tape reportedly held by the network.
According to Luna, the video allegedly shows Lee Harvey Oswald near the presidential vehicle at the time of the shooting — something she says would make it impossible for him to have pulled the trigger. She said the tape was brought to the committee’s attention by director Oliver Stone, known for his 1991 film “JFK.”

Stone, Luna said, had seen the tape himself and claimed it was a secondary copy. He told lawmakers it could upend the official account of the assassination, which blamed Oswald alone for Kennedy’s death. Luna stated the committee would send a formal request to NBC for the footage, insisting the American people have the right to view it.

President Donald Trump fulfilled a long-standing promise by releasing more than 60,000 pages of previously classified documents about the assassination. He had earlier signed an executive order instructing Attorney General Pam Bondi and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to oversee the disclosure process.
Among the new information uncovered in the files was evidence that the CIA had been tracking Oswald before the assassination. Luna said one document even revealed the CIA itself did not believe Oswald was the lone shooter — a key claim long dismissed by official investigations.
The Oversight Committee plans to hold a public hearing on April 1, where Stone and journalist Jefferson Morley are expected to testify about the new information. Luna praised Trump and former CIA Director John Ratcliffe for championing transparency.
Luna questioned whether a free society can function when powerful institutions hide the truth from the public. She said NBC’s refusal to release the tape is a prime example of secrecy harming accountability.
