Professional Inciter Psaki Wants GOP To Tone Down Rhetoric After Trump Assassination Attempt

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki has laughably called on the Republican National Committee to revise the programming for the upcoming convention to help reduce political tensions following the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump. During an appearance on “Meet the Press” on Sunday, Psaki claimed to be concerned in the wake of the attack, urging for a shift toward more civil discourse — the kind of discourse Democrats have shunned for years now.

“I’m incredibly scared. I’m scared for journalists. I’m scared for people who have public platforms of all parties,” Psaki said with feigned sincerity. She emphasized that the Republican National Convention, set to begin on Monday, should reconsider its planned speakers and programming to help restore civility and prevent further escalation — as if it wasn’t President Donald Trump who was the victim of the results of the left’s rhetoric.

Psaki warned that continuing with the current rhetoric could exacerbate the situation. “The convention is starting and unless the programming changes, the rhetoric and how the programming is set up is not actually calming the tone or restoring civility,” she stated. “We’ll see if that programming changes, but if it stays the same, that is escalating it. It is not a civil approach to a convention.”

Despite these concerns, the Republican National Convention will proceed with heightened security measures. Trump, who will be formally nominated as the GOP’s 2024 presidential candidate, remains defiant. “I truly love our country, and love you all, and look forward to speaking to our Great Nation this week from Wisconsin,” he posted on Truth Social.

Psaki also criticized those using the moment for political gain. “For anyone out there who has a platform who thinks the moment right now is to be political and attack the other party — you are feeding into the danger. You are making it more likely there’s retaliation,” she said.

The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old man from western Pennsylvania, was killed by law enforcement after firing at Trump from a rooftop 130 yards away. Crooks, identified as a registered Republican, shot Trump in the ear, causing a bloody injury. The attack also resulted in the death of one rally attendee and critical injuries to two others.

So, did I miss the part where she also told dems and msm to stop the rhetoric, or was she mainly only concerned about retaliation and focusing the blame on conservatives? IMO
