Liz Cheney Calls For New Neocon Party, Wants Democrats To Control House

Conservative pariah former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is openly advocating for the Republican Party to lose control of the House of Representatives, arguing that the party has changed — something many consider a very good thing — under the influence of President Donald Trump.

Cheney, alongside her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, has already endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris for president, citing her concerns over the GOP’s current direction.

Cheney suggested that a new neoconservative party may be necessary if the Republican Party does not distance itself from Trump’s influence. “The [Republican] party itself really has rejected the Constitution in the name of supporting Trump,” she stated, accusing the GOP of abandoning policy and substance. She believes a new political entity may be required to promote conservative causes that are no longer represented in today’s GOP.

Cheney and her father have long been advocates of foreign military interventions, a position that contrasts with Trump’s non-interventionist stance. Trump has vowed that conservatives will not return to the era of leaders like Paul Ryan and Jeb Bush, marking a permanent shift away from neoconservatism.

Cheney also expressed concerns about the Republican Party’s willingness to certify future elections. She has voiced opposition to Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) becoming Speaker of the House, fearing he would not certify election results if Trump were to lose in 2024.

There ain’t anything ‘conservative’ about either of them – they are all about power and control, especially if it is in their hands. That’s why the dems have so readily embraced/encouraged them. Their hatred for DJT is blatantly obvious. Prove me wrong.
