It’s Not Just A Halloween Ghost Story: Witches Are Waging A ‘Spiritual War’ Against Trump — And They’re Losing

The forces of evil seem to be rallying against President Donald Trump in an unusual way — through self-proclaimed witches who are casting spells to prevent his return to office. Yet, as the election nears, these witches are admitting defeat, saying their spells aren’t working.

Various posts on Reddit’s WitchesVsPatriarchy show witches discussing their frustration over failed hexes. One practitioner shared that she tried a “freezer spell,” freezing Trump’s name in water to disrupt his influence, yet still sees no effect. Multiple witches claim that Trump appears to be “shielded” by prayers from his supporters, which they believe is blocking their spells.

One witch described his protection as a “flimsy shield” but admitted that it’s enough to stop her attempts. Other practitioners on the thread have started recommending spells in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris instead, arguing that positive energy might be more effective than directly hexing Trump, which they say only strengthens his spiritual shield.

Trump himself has frequently spoken about his faith and protection, especially after narrowly avoiding an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The attacks on Trump by the forces of darkness have been clearly documented. And these spells against the former president have been going on for years:

Witchcraft has seen a surge in popularity on social media, with millions of users engaging with WitchTok content on TikTok. However, former practitioners caution that magic isn’t harmless. Jenny Weaver, a former witch turned Christian minister, warns that witchcraft brought her only darkness and fear before she found peace in faith. As witches continue to voice their frustrations online, Trump’s followers and former witches alike point to his resilience as proof of something stronger at play.
